Dunkels Bock

A strong, dark lager in the German tradition, our Dunkels Bock is a malt forward treat made with crystal, chocolate and melanoidin malts on top of a Pilsner base. Sweet caramel and dried fruit dominate the nose, seasoned with floral notes from the Hallertau Mittelfruh hops. Sweet caramel again on the palate with some burnt sugar and a little roastiness, leading to a lingering dry, somewhat bitter finish. Prost!
