Czech Dark Lager

This traditional Czech-style dark lager is full bodied yet drinkable. Bohemian malts, grown and floor malted in Czechia provide the body; Pilsner base with dark and carabohemian providing a lovely malt character of dark dried fruits and some baking cocoa, with carafa III dehusked roasted barley giving a hint of roast on the finish. Hopped with Czech saaz to give a nice peppery seasoning to these malts, this super traditional take on the style is a refreshing dark beer for the end of summer.
