A delicious Düsseldorf Altbier style brew. Similar to Kölsch from nearby Cologne, Germany, a bit downstream the Rhine River. Altbier uses the same yeast and shares that subtle fruity-floral-winey taste but is redder and hoppier, with more malt complexity. Alt is the German word for old, as in, the old-fashioned way of making beer before pale lagers took over the world.
