Brick & Spoon ESB

Named for two unlikely but valuable tools used with our old brewhouse, Brick & Spoon ESB is a strong ale true to this English-style. Maris Otter heritage malt, along with crystal and biscuit malts, are balanced by Cluster and East Kent Golding hops and our house ale yeast blend, fermented warmer to express some fruity ester character.

Woodsy and grassy on the nose with some malt sweetness leading to a fruity malt, hops, and yeast character that play out in concert on the palate. Citrus peel and dried fruit linger to a dry finish with some bitterness and toasty malt.
